Postoperative Expectations/Instructions:
- Discomfort: You will receive a prescription for medication to take care of any discomfort. Most people require 3-7 days off from school and work.
- Activity: Heavy activity and lifting of more than 20 pounds should be avoided for 2 weeks. Smoking is discouraged during this time. Nose blowing and flying should not be done during the first 2 weeks.
